BANDO DI CONCORSO PER GRUPPI EMERGENTI
ART.1 Il Comune di Azzano Decimo organizza
11° CONCORSO PER GRUPPI EMERGENTI – “CITTÀ’ DI AZZANO DECIMO”,
che si svolgerà ad Azzano Decimo, sabato 17 luglio 2010.
ART.2 Al concorso potranno partecipare i gruppi emergenti composti da musicisti, la cui età media sia compresa tra i 14 e i 30 anni, e comunque che non superino i 40 anni, liberi da contratti artistici o discografici.
ART.3 Per partecipare al concorso è necessario inviare, entro e non oltre il 27 marzo 2010 (vale la data del timbro postale), al Comune di Azzano Decimo, Piazza Libertà, 1 – 33082 AZZANO DECIMO (PN), la seguente documentazione:
- scheda d’iscrizione compilata in tutte le sue parti;
- ricevuta (o fotocopia) del versamento della quota di iscrizione di €.15,00.= che dovrà essere effettuato sul ccp. N. 230599 – COMUNE DI AZZANO DECIMO – Servizio Tesoreria, con la seguente causale: ISCRIZIONE CONCORSO PER GRUPPI EMERGENTI;
- testo letterario delle canzoni con traduzione in inglese per i brani in lingua non italiana;
- brani incisi su apposito supporto musicale: CD o MC;
- foto e breve curriculum vitae del gruppo.
Per i minorenni è tassativa, al momento dell’iscrizione, la firma dell’esercente la patria potestà.
ART.4 I brani presentati dovranno avere, pena l’inammissibilità o l’esclusione, i seguenti requisiti:
- dovranno essere propri, editi o inediti;
- dovranno essere massimo 3 (tre) per un’esecuzione di massimo 20 (venti) minuti;
- non dovranno inoltre contenere messaggi pubblicitari a favore di persone o servizi;
- non dovranno contenere elementi di violazione alla legge e ai diritti di terzi, né alcun incitamento al razzismo, alla discriminazione ed alla violenza.
Il materiale inviato non verrà restituito.
ART.5 Una Giuria di esperti nominata dall’organizzazione selezionerà, tramite l’ascolto del materiale audio pervenuto, i gruppi che saranno ammessi alla finale. I gruppi selezionati saranno quindi invitati, tramite e.mail, fax o raccomandata, a partecipare alla selezione finale che si terrà ad Azzano Decimo sabato 5 giugno 2010.
ART.6 I gruppi selezionati, ammessi a partecipare alla selezione finale con esibizione dal vivo, dovranno versare una quota di €. 30,00.= sul ccp. N. 230599 - COMUNE DI AZZANO DECIMO - Servizio Tesoreria, con la seguente causale: ”Iscrizione Concorso per Gruppi Emergenti - finali”, e inviare una copia del versamento al Comune di Azzano Decimo, Piazza Libertà, 1 - 33082 AZZANO DECIMO (PN), unitamente a una scheda tecnica degli strumenti utilizzati.
ART: 7 I partecipanti ammessi alle finali si esibiranno di fronte ad una Giuria di esperti (per informazioni aggiornate sulla composizione della giuria, consultare il sito : www.fieradellamusica.it)
ART.8 L’ordine di esecuzione dei concorrenti sarà stabilito secondo criteri di carattere tecnico.
ART.9 I brani interpretati dovranno essere i medesimi inviati alle preselezioni e dovranno avere le stesse caratteristiche di cui all’art. 4. Ogni gruppo avrà a disposizione massimo 20 (venti) minuti per presentare i propri brani. I concorrenti dovranno cantare e suonare dal vivo. Sono ammesse le basi preregistrate su DAT, CD, sequencer, o altri lettori di base MIDI, purché non costituiscano la maggior parte del brano. Non sono ammesse in nessun caso esibizioni in playback.
I concorrenti si esibiranno con service audio/luci, fonico, back line e batteria messi a disposizione dall’organizzazione. Altri strumenti dovranno essere portati direttamente dai concorrenti.
I partecipanti ammessi si esibiranno di fronte alla Giuria che avrà lo scopo di decretare i primi tre classificati.
Le decisioni della Giuria sono inappellabili.
ART.10 I premi corrisposti ai vincitori saranno:
1° classificato €. 1.300,00.=
2° classificato €. 900,00.=
3° classificato €. 600,00.=
La giuria avrà inoltre la facoltà di assegnare un premio speciale al miglior musicista o interprete.
A tutti i gruppi verrà assegnato un attestato di partecipazione.
ART.11 Oltre ai premi, ai componenti dei gruppi ammessi alle finali verrà corrisposto un buono pasto e i biglietti per i concerti che si terranno all’interno della manifestazione “Fiera della musica 2010”. Ai gruppi residenti oltre i 120 Km da Azzano Decimo, l’organizzazione garantisce l’alloggio gratuito per 1 notte. Nessun altro rimborso verrà corrisposto ai partecipanti per le loro esibizioni.
ART.12 È facoltà dell’organizzazione diffondere ogni fase del concorso attraverso mass-media, abbinando eventualmente una o più sponsorizzazioni.
ART.13 Il gruppo partecipante, iscrivendosi, solleva l’organizzazione da ogni responsabilità garantendo di non violare con la sua esibizione i diritti di terzi.
ART.14 I partecipanti dovranno sempre presentarsi con un documento d’identificazione valido.
ART. 15 L’organizzazione si impegna ad osservare tutte le disposizioni emanate dalla SIAE in materia di concorsi canori.
ART.16 L’organizzazione è responsabile dell’osservanza del presente regolamento e si riserva, in caso di violazione dello stesso, il potere di escludere dal concorso gli inadempienti in qualsiasi momento.
ART.17 L’organizzazione si riserva il diritto di apportare tutte le modifiche al presente regolamento, che si rendano necessarie per garantire un migliore svolgimento del concorso. Di ogni modifica saranno avvertiti i partecipanti.
ART. 18 L’organizzazione non è responsabile di eventuali danni derivanti da incidenti occasionali a persone o cose per tutta la durata della manifestazione.
ART. 19 Il gruppo, iscrivendosi, autorizza l’Ente organizzatore a registrare con mezzi audio-video e diffondere i materiali inviati e le esibizioni attraverso i media più idonei. Il gruppo partecipante non ha diritto ad alcuna retribuzione per le eventuali riprese fotografiche o audiovisive che saranno effettuate durante lo svolgimento del concorso da parte dell’organizzazione. I diritti d’immagine della manifestazione sono di esclusivo utilizzo del Comune di Azzano Decimo.
ART. 20 In caso di controversia è competente, in via esclusiva, il Foro di Pordenone.
ART. 21 L’adesione al concorso implica la totale accettazione del presente regolamento.

COMUNE OF AZZANO DECIMO
“NEW BANDS COMPETITION”
REGULATIONS GOVERNING
THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR NEW BANDS
Art. 1 Town of Azzano Decimo is the organizer of the
11TH International Competition for New Bands “Città di Azzano Decimo” that will take place on Saturday 17th July 2010.
Art. 2 Bands, whose members average age must be between 14 and 30 years, but not older than 40 years old, free from artistic or record contracts, are admitted to the competition.
Art. 3 The registration, which must reach the Comune of Azzano Decimo by and no later than 27th March 2010, have to enclose:
- the application form completed entirely and signed;
- photo and curriculum of the band;
- lyrics of the songs translated in English for lyrics not in Italian
- songs recorded on suitable musical support such as CD or MC;
- copy of the payment receipt of 15.00 €, to pay in at the Post Office current account no. 230599 – COMUNE DI AZZANO DECIMO – Servizio Tesoreria, specifying the reason for payment as: “ISCRIZIONE CONCORSO PER GRUPPI EMERGENTI”.
Art. 4 The songs must have the following requirements, or they may not be admitted or may be disqualified:
- they should be the bands’ own, either published or unpublished;
- a maximum of 3 songs are allowed (lasting no longer than 20 minutes);
- they should not contain advertising messages in favour of people or services:
- they should respect the law and not contain any racist or violent material.
The material sent will not be returned.
ART. 5 A jury of experts elected by the organizers, will select the bands through the recorded material. The selected bands will receive notification either via e-mail, fax or by recorded delivery. The competition will take place in Azzano Decimo on 17th July 2010.
ART. 6 The selected bands, who will participate in the final with a live performance, must send to the Comune of Azzano Decimo copy of the payment receipt of € 30,00 at the Post Office current account no. 230599 – COMUNE DI AZZANO DECIMO – Servizio Tesoreria specifying the reason for payment as: “ISCRIZIONE CONCORSO PER GRUPPI EMERGENTI – FINALI” with a list of the instruments used by the band.
ART. 7 The participants admitted to the final, will perform in front of a Jury of experts.

ART. 8 The order of the participants’ performance will be established according to technical criteria.
ART. 9 The songs performed must be the same sent in the pre-selection recording and have the characteristics specified in Art.4. Every group will have a maximum of 20 minutes to perform their songs. The bands have to sing and play live. Bases recorded on DAT or CD are admitted (two stereo tracks). Songs in playback are not admitted. Audio service and lights, sound mixer, back lines and drums are at the bands’ disposal and are provided by the organization. Other instruments should be brought by the band. The bands selected will perform in front of the Jury, who will select the first three classified. The decisions of the Jury are final.
ART. 10 The following prizes will be assigned:
- 1° prize Euro 1.300,00#
- 2° prize Euro 900,00#
- 3° prize Euro 600,00#
The first classified band will have an article with a photo in a music trade journal.
Moreover, the jury will have the faculty to assign a special prize to the best musician.
All bands will receive a diploma of participation.
ART. 11 Apart from the prizes assigned, the participants have no right to any other remuneration for their performances. Travel costs will be integrally charged to the participants. To the members of the selected bands for the final competition, organization will provide a meal ticket and the tickets for concerts that will be organized by Fiera della Musica 2010. For the bands that come farther than 120 km from Azzano Decimo, the organization assures free lodging for an overnight stays.
ART. 12 The organization has the faculty to advertise every phase of the competition through mass-media, with one or more sponsorships.
ART. 13 On registration, the participating bands exonerates the organization from any responsibility of violating with its performance third parties’ rights.
ART. 14 The participants must have a valid document of identity.
ART. 15 The organization commits itself to respecting all the norms emanated by the SIAE for similar competitions.
ART. 16 The organization is responsible for the observance of regulation. If regulation is violated the organization will preserve the right to rule out the offenders from the competition at any time without any repayment.
ART. 17 The organization preserves the right to change the present regulations to guarantee a better outcome of the competition.
ART. 18 The organization is not responsible for any damages deriving from accidents to people or things, during the event.
ART. 19 Bands allow organization to record with audio-video instruments and to spread out the material sent and the live exhibition through appropriate media.
The participants have no right to any remuneration for any photo session or audio-visual filming that will carried out by the organisation during the competition. The rights of image of the event are for exclusive use of the Comune of Azzano Decimo.
ART. 20 The Forum of Pordenone is competent in case of controversies.
ART. 21 The participation in the competition implies total acceptance of the present regulation.
